On Wednesday, Feb, 16, the first gathering of the Clearwater Breastfeeding Group will be held at Yellowhead Community Services at 7:30 p.m. This will be a gathering for all women who are breastfeeding or pregnant and who want information on breastfeeding.

We would like to thank the residents who live around the Safety Mart area for not complaining about the noise while we clear the parking lot of snow in the evenings.

In case you missed it, there was an interesting interview with Robert Gray, co-author of the 2004 Filmon Report, about the increasing danger of destructive wildfires in this province.

For a lot of years now, Clearwater and District Chamber of Commerce has held a desk in the Clearwater information centre. The staff that runs that desk is tasked primarily with providing high quality information for tourists, but they also handle everything from inquiries about the local real estate market to questions about moving to the valley and starting a business here.

Mark your calendars with Feb. 5 at the high school for the Arts, Health and Wellness Expo (see ads in the Times) - another amazing display of local and valley businesses and agencies.
