Clearwater’s U18 and U15 Icehawks hit the ice for a weekend of championship playoffs that were held at the North Thompson Sportsplex from March 2-3.

The U18 Icehawks’ skill on the ice was exceptional throughout the weekend as they won three out of their three games to secure their spot in the final game against the Merritt Centennials.

The final game ended with a score of 7-3, an Icehawks victory over the Centennials. Following the game, Icehawks team captain Soren Coates proudly accepted two new additions into the U18s’ collection of championship banners.

The U15 team also gained their fair share of victories as they claimed first in the league during the weekend.

In the coming weeks, the U18 team will be heading off to championship games in Creston and the U15s will be heading to Chase for playoffs on the weekend of March 9-10.
