The Barriere Secondary School (BSS) Girls Basketball team hosted the annual Cougar Classic tournament on Jan. 19 through 20.
It was an amazing weekend at the BSS Gym. The senior girls basketball team hosted their Cougar Classic where teams from Similkameen, Lumby, Ashcroft, Fort St. James and Kamloops made the journey to compete in ‘the Den.’
The girls battled hard, going 2-1, but came up short losing 39-37 to Similkameen in the final. The game was back and forth all night, making for some exciting basketball.
The girls would like to thank all the fans that came out to show their support this weekend. It was a great day to be a Cougar!
