The North Thompson Spartans Senior Sevens have won the West Zone championship.
So far this season the team, which is made up of players from Clearwater and Barriere secondary schools, has a record of 16 wins and zero losses.
Playing in the West Zone championships on May 25 at Parkinsons Rec Centre in Kelowna, they defeated NorKam in the final 31-0.
The Spartans has previously won their division championships during a play date held at Clearwater Secondary School on May 17.

They now are going to the Tier II Sevens championships, which will be held on June 8 and 9 at Brentwood College in Cowichan.
The team will be doing some fundraising to help offset the costs associated with attending. Community members can contact Marie Giesbrecht at the CSS (250-674-3328) if they would like to contribute.
