Clearwater Peewees forced a third game against Chase for the playoff banner by defeating them 8-4 in game two on Saturday, March 10.

Unfortunately, the local team lost game three on Sunday in a close match-up.

Game one of the playoff series had been held in Chase while the last two were held at the Sportsplex in Clearwater.

“The kids played their hearts out,” reported coach Barb Coates.

Next up for the Peewees will be the Districts at home in the Sportsplex on March 17,18 and 19.

“Our first game is against Chase, so it will be a great one to watch,” said Coates.
