Peewees place fourth in Okanagan championships

Clearwater Peewee team hosts five-team tournament at the Sportsplex

Clearwater Peewees placed fourth in the Okanagan championships last weekend with a record of two wins, two losses and one tie.

Overall winner was Lumby, which went through the tournament undefeated and, reportedly, through the season as well.

The local squad hosted the championship tournament at the Sportsplex. Other teams taking part included Chase, West Kelowna and Kelowna.

“In the last two games the kids really stepped it up and every player contributed for some great games,” commented coach Barb Coates.
