Local politicians get help from young female hockey players as they cut the ribbon to officially open the new chamging rooms at the North Thompson Sportsplex on Friday.

The project was a good example of different levels of government working together, they say.

A major factor in getting the project underway was a presentation by young female hockey players to town council asking for more and better changing rooms.
