Vancouver - Since 1978, snowmobile clubs across the province have hosted Snowarama and Winterfest events to raise funds in support of the BC Lions Society for Children with Disabilities Easter Seals services. Snowmobile clubs from both the BC Snowmobile Federation and ABC Snowmobile Federation host Snowarama or Winterfest events respectively.
Look for Snowarama or Winterfest events in your community this January, February and March. Please support local snowmobilers and Lions Clubs members with their fundraising efforts. All funds raised support Easter Seals Camps, and Easter Seals Houses in B.C.
Since its inception Snowmobilers in B.C. have raised over $3.9 million in support of Easter Seal services.
The BC Lions Society for Children with Disabilities has been a registered charity since 1952. The BC Lions Society is dedicated to enriching the lives of children with a renewed focus on ‘giving children abilities’ by providing Easter Seal programs and services that enrich their lives, promote self-esteem, confidence and independence.
