With three goals and three assists, Ormondy was number four on the Vibes’ list of top scorers during the championship weekend.

Only 12 skaters and two goalies were able to make the trip to Saskatchewan for the Vibes. Two played injured during the weekend and but the team managed to play five games in less than 48 hours to finish with a 3-1-1 record.

The gold medal game was against last year’s winners, Grande Prairie. The other team got ahead with two quick goals in the second period, but Kamloops came back with six unanswered goals to win the game and the championship 6 - 2.
