Ladies golf almost done for the year

The Lacarya Golf Club championship tournament will be on Saturday, Sept. 24

There were 13 ladies out for ladies‘ night at Lacarya on Sept. 8.

The flight one winners were Tanya Desjarlais with low gross and Madeline Klassen with low net. Carol Hindle had KP, Joan Slingsby had long putt and Deb Pearce had both long drive and long drive in 2.

Winners of flight two were Joan Streadwick with low gross and Jan Johnston with low net. Joan also won long drive. Sheila Colter had the longest drive in two shots and Korinne Isbister had the longest putt.

In competitions open to both flights Tanya won KP and least putts, Sheila won long putt and Marg Anderson won for being the ‘most honest’ putter. Tanya also won the deuce pot

Sadly, we are almost done for the year. The Lacarya Golf Club championship tournament will be on Saturday, Sept. 24.
