We had 17 ladies out for golf on Aug. 3 and it was a scorcher.

The special game was “Best Poker Hand.” Stay tuned next week for the best hand results.

We had 13 ladies stay for dinner and to tell stories from the Scottish Scramble game on July 27.

The winners from the July 27 (week 13) Ladies Night was the team of Tanya Dejarlais and Marg Anderson – Low Gross, chip in on hole #7 (was at least 25 feet onto the green and into the hole). The chip in was also for a birdie and they got a second birdie on hole #5 with a very long putt by Tanya. Well done, team.

There were two mystery scores and Team Rose Harley/Yevonne Cline and Team Jan Johnston/Sheena won them.

There were individual prizes to be won on each hole. Hole #1 long drive: Deanna Pendergast (F#1), Joan Slingsby(F#2), Deb Mayer (F#3); Hole #2 closest to stump – Rose (couldn’t get any closer than actually on the stump); Hole #3 Short Drive – Kristen; Hole #4 closest to windmill – Joan Slingsby; Hole #5 KP – Deanna (F#1), Joan Streadwick (F#2); Hole #6 long drive – Carol Hindle (F#1), Joan Slingsby(F#2), Kristen (F#3); Hole #7 KP All – no takers; Hole #8 KP in2 – Team Deanna/Marie; Hole #9 Long drive in 2 All flights – Team Joan Streadwick/Carol McNeil.

Jane Olson and Jen Cleveland got a birdie on hole #5. No one lost a ball in the water hazard this game.
