Fun bonspiel attracts a dozen rinks

Fun was had by all, and some teams were already talking about costume ideas for next year!

Twelve local curling teams participated in the Love Where You Live curling bonspiel at the Sportsplex last Friday and Saturday evenings, Nov. 3 and 4.

This fun bonspiel was sponsored by the District of Clearwater, TNRD Area A, and the Curling Club.

Teams were encouraged to dress in red costumes, bring new curlers to the rink and have lots of fun.

Voted for the best costume was the team, Spoiled Rotten Ranch, with their Red Thing 1, 2 and 3 suits.

Fun was had by all, and some teams were already talking about costume ideas for next year!

Wells Gray Curling Club curls on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, starting at 7.

If you are interested in participating, please stop by the rink or phone Gwen at 250-674-3768.
