Blue River Blues won Clearwater Slow-Pitch’s windup tournament the weekend before last, organizers report.
The Blues narrowly beat out Reckless in a tense final game. Final standings were 5 - 1 for the Blues and 5 - 2 for Reckless.
NTPD Pounders came third while Fireballs took fourth position. Fifth spot in the tourney went to MGM. Earning honorable mentions were SuperFreaks, Off Constantly, and Bayley’s Bistro.
The tournament was played at Capostinsky Park.
“Overall, it was a very fun season,” said one organizer. “See you next year.”
