Clearwater girls play on home ice with junior team

The U18 Kamloops Jr. Blazers played against Willams Lake’s Timberwolves

The U18 girls Kamloops Jr. Blazers were in Clearwater over the weekend playing a couple games against Williams Lake’s Timberwolves. Parents and fans filled the seats at the North Thompson Sportsplex to watch the teams play some good hockey and cheer on a few local players.

Captain Cassidy Tucker (#9), Korie McGill (#20), Sage Barstow (#4) and Bailey Murray (#3) have a combined 12 years experience on the Kamloops Jr. Blazers team.

The teams played two games, the first on Saturday (Jan. 8) where the teams finished the game tied at 2-2. The following day (Jan. 9), the Jr. Blazers dominated, taking the win with a 5-1 final score.
