Six high school soccer teams from across the B.C. Interior travelled to Clearwater last weekend for a two-day tournament at Clearwater Secondary School.

The CSS girl’s Raiders placed fourth out of seven after the games were finished, and they were hard-fought matches, as all but one game were decided by a single goal or ended in a shoot out.

Soccer coach and principal Darren Coates said the close scores are a success as it means the teams are evenly matched.

The CSS girl’s team are in Kelowna next Tuesday (May 17) to compete in zone playoffs.
