“With the financial support of TNRD Director Area A Carol Schaffer the UCFI is now able to replace all 100 watt incandescent bulbs inside the hall with LED bulbs,” noted Patalong. “The use of energy will be reduced from 4,000 watts per hour to 580 watts, a reduction of 85.5 per cent. This move will not only reduce the environmental footprint of the Upper Clearwater Community Hall, but also lower the BC Hydro bill,” he said.
