CSS PAC and Raft River PAC wish to extend their appreciation to all those who came out on to hear Dr. Jason Ohler. It was a great keynote speech that talked “tech” and how the digital age can be integrated into literacy initiatives in the classroom and in life at large. We appreciated your attendance and then the subsequent energy and enthusiasm for new possibilities within our community.
We also wish to extend our appreciation to the band for putting on the concession and to our sponsors for the event including Yellowhead Community Services, Ministry of Children and Family Development, the District of Clearwater, School District 73, Clearwater Secondary School, Clearwater Chamber of Commerce, Clearwater Rotary and Clearwater Computers and to the Clearwater Times for their reporting.
The goal and ambition of both schools’ Parent Advisory Committees (PAC) is to further positive technology influences in the classroom that enhance learning opportunities for our kids. We are grateful for the support of our community.
