Editor, The Times:
The March 21 edition of the Clearwater Times reported that Kamloops-North Thompson Liberal MLA Terry Lake has received a $50,930 raise as environment minister.
Before this raise, Lake was paid $15,000 - on top of his MLA salary of $101,000 - for being a parliamentary secretary.
If this does not tell people where their vote should go to in the next provincial election, I don't know what will.
Everyday working wage earners struggle to get by, while Lake and the rest of government cronies live a life of luxury on taxpayers' money.
Any public employee making $2,900 a week, with benefits, is living a life of luxury.
