Clearwater Red Cross HELP Depot and all of its volunteers would like to express great appreciation for all the wonderful individuals, groups and charities in our valley who have donated to our depot.
It is because of this generosity that we have managed to keep the depot open in our community.
To bring awareness to the community, we are a medical equipment loan depot (HELP stands for health equipment loan program). The loans are free of charge. Donations are very much appreciated and are how we fund the depot's expenses.
Items we loan out include wheelchairs; stationary, two-wheel and four-wheel walkers; canes; crutches; bed rails; bath aids; raised toilet seats; commodes and IV poles.
All we require is a requisition from your doctor or therapist.
The depot is open every Tuesday from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., except holidays. It is located at the bottom of Steegs Hill on Clearwater Station Road. Phone is 250-674-3414
We are run solely by volunteers. We are on call for emergencies and try our best to accommodate the community.
