Halloween hunger drive pulls in food

The Food Bank would like to thank the 30 or so CSS students who participated in this year’s Halloween Hunger Drive

Editor, The Times:

The Food Bank would like to thank the 30 or so Clearwater Secondary School students who participated in this year’s Halloween Hunger Drive.  Having young people reach out to charitable causes and volunteerism is a clear sign of a healthy community, and very refreshing to hear of as opposed to the negative stories we all hear about. This group collected 558 food items and $45 cash.  Well done, CSS students and staff!

A very pleasant surprise for us was to receive 93 food items and $42 cash from four girls, Indigo Johnson, Chloe Burton, and Alex and Cassie Brown, who did their own Halloween Hunger Drive in Little Fort, BRAVO!

A sincere thank-you to you all.
