Clearwater and District Food Bank has just completed its ninth annual mid-season food drive this past Saturday and we wish to extend a sincere thank you to the citizens of Clearwater and district for a successful campaign.
We received approximately 300 bags of grocery items (about 2,400 items), which is a tremendous help to the food bank in providing for the needy in our community.
A big thank you to all the volunteers who assisted in the delivery of the bags and the pick-up of the donations. It was a great team success.
In addition, we would like to thank all those volunteers who assisted in the move to our new location (across the road from the old site). A lot of effort was put into the move and many hands made it run smooth.
Clearwater and District can be proud of its great volunteers and wonderful supporters of those in need.
