Community forest helps Legion

Their assistance to our branch allows us to continue to provide bi-weekly fundraising dinners

Editor, The Times:

Royal Canadian Legion Branch 259 would like to extend a well-deserved thank-you to the Wells Gray Community Forest 2010 Society for its contribution to the purchase of a new stove for our kitchen.

In addition, they have provided funding in 2015 for the purchase of a refrigerator and a cooler.

Their assistance to our branch allows us to continue to provide bi-weekly fundraising dinners to cover operating costs and to provide funding to veterans and their families in need.

Kudos to the Wells Gray Community Forest Society for their contributions.
