Bride loses ring in Wells Gray Park

Editor, The Times:

Yesterday (Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011) I lost my wedding ring during a visit in Wells Gray Park. I hope that a short message in the paper can maybe help in getting it back. I spent the whole day searching for my ring without any result but maybe someone else found it and is hopefully willing to give it back, because it has such a big emotional value to me.

My husband and I married earlier this month in Belgium and are spending our honeymoon in Alberta and British Columbia (staying in Canada until Sept. 25). We had the best journey so far with beautiful weather but today in Wells Gray, along with the first rain in our vacation came the first bad experience, sadly....

At Ray Farm I suddenly noticed my wedding ring was gone. It must have slipped from my finger somehow. I have a picture in Dawson Falls where I still have the ring on my finger, so I must have lost it in Dawson Falls on the way back to the car, at Helmcken Falls or at Ray Farm.

I'm a journalist myself at a Belgian newspaper, so I immediately thought of the local Clearwater paper as an extra help in my search, I really hope you guys can give it a little push.

Thanks in advance!
