William Donald “Bill” Bartlett
Born Oct. 2, 1927, deceased Sept. 16, 2004. Bill passed away peacefully at home after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
He had his whole family by his side for love and support.
Bill was predeceased by both his parents, Edward and Lillian, Uncle Poppy (Les Bartlett), brother Allen, sister Rose, grandsons Donald, Rick and Ron Haker, granddaughter Amanda Blakeborough, and great grandson Steven Dietz.
He is survived by his wife of 53 wonderful years, Marylene; sister Lillian Colwill; children Don (Anna) Bartlett, Shirley (Tom) Haker, Audrey(Ken) Blakeborough, Jim Bartlett, Fay (Earl) Jones and Cheryl (Doug) Hall; grandchildren Cam Bartlett, Lia Bartlett, Willy Bartlett (Amanda), Tammi Blakeborough, Vickie Haker (John), June Blakeborough, Rachelle Hall (James), James Hall, Natasha Guenther and Cory Jones; foster grandchildren Brenda Ferguson and Jason Williams; great-grandchildren Annalisa Bartlett, Robert Bartlett, Alexandra Bartlett, Brooklyn Shemilt, Kaitly and Kylie Bartlett; foster great grandchildren Kyle Larson, Kaitlyn Williams, Daniel Ferguson and Derek Ferguson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, Sept 25, 2004 at Victory Hall, Keremeos, with interment following at Keremeos Cemetery.
