Walter Richard Treseng
April 12, 1961 — July 26, 2008
Clearwater B.C. — Walter Richard Treseng entered into rest Saturday, July 26, 2008. He was 47 years old. He is survived by Tena Treseng, his wife of 29 years.
Walter was born April 12, 1961 in Kamloops, B.C. The youngest son to Betty and Thomas Treseng. Beloved father to Stacey Wichmann and Sherry Purdy. Proud grandfather to Alysha and Eric Wichmann, and Logan and Britney Purdy. He is preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters: Butch, Yvonne, Bernice, Beatrice, Norman, Helen, Ralph, and Micheal.
Wally worked for CN Rail for 30 years, and was a volunteer firefighter for 20 years.
Wally was a great man, loving husband, proud father, grandfather, cousin, uncle, brother, nephew and friend to many. He loved spending time with family and friends. He was always fixing something, and there was nothing he could not fix. He loved playing sports, solving puzzles and making people laugh. He will be sadly missed by all.
A funeral service was held Saturday, August 2, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Riverview Cemetery.
