Vern passed away peacefully at Langley Memorial Hospital with his family by his side. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Florence; sons Neil (Sandy) and Richard (Sharon); daughters Linda (Bob), Janet (Ken) and Susan; special family member Grace (Ed); 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister Enid Colborne and other family members and friends.
Predeceased by his grandson
Kelly Stearns.
A funeral service will be held Friday, Mar. 3 at 11 a.m. at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Highway, Langley.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Disease Association or the Alzheimer’s Society.
