Vera (Jean) Hunter
Passed away peacefully at the Royal Inland Hospital on April 02, 2006. Born in Burns Lake, B.C. to Leo and Louisa Burns on August 31, 1928, Jean was raised in the Francois Lake area of B.C. She then moved to the Kamloops area where she met and married Delbert in 1946. In 1967 they moved to Darfield B.C. with their three children. Jean was predeceased by her parents and her two brothers, Bob Burns and Len Burns. She is survived by her husband of sixty years Delbert (Del), daughter Judy (Calvin) Larson of Slave Lake, Alberta, her son Gerald Hunter of Barriere, B.C., her daughter Susan (Dennis) Gordon of Barriere, B.C., two grandchildren Linda Larson and Jay Larson both of Prince George, B.C. and great granddaughter Kassy Larson of Prince George, B.C. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. A graveside service was held in Barriere on April 05, 2006 in honour of Jean’s life. Kamloops Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
