Thomas Carl Noble, passed away in Dr, Helmcken Memorial Hospital, Clearwater, BC, on November 20, 2007, with his dearest friend, Gloria by his side. Tom was born in Creemore, Ontario, July 28, 1933. He was predeceased by his parents, Norma & Alex, and by his beloved wife, Jan, in 2002.

Tom joined the army in 1951 and was posted to Victoria, BC. A few years later he was shipped out to Korea and saw active duty until the end of the war. He was in the service for about 10 years. Tom then joined the Corrections Service of Canada.

Tom lived a full life which encompassed three phases. He met and married Doreen in 1957. They had three children (all living in Kingston, ON), Paul (Liz), Susan, and Rick (Linda). His second phase was about 1978; he moved to the west coast where he met and married Jan Parman in 1980. Her children became his...Bill, Theresa (Mark), Doug (Merle), Crystal (Dean), and Mike (Dreena). His third phase was in 2003 when he and Gloria Petre formed their partnership, and he added Shane (Katrina)and Kimberly (Jon)to his family.

As well as all of the above, Tom has a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren -- Tom never used the term “step-children”, he considered them all ‘his’ -- who will greatly miss him. Tom also leaves to mourn brothers Bob, Jim (Lucy), sisters Joan (John) and Shirley (Gerry); from the Parman family, Hazel (Momma Bear), Claudette (Paul), Bill (Dolly), Dick (Bev), Chuck (Ruth), Galen (Martha), Elaine (Don) Rosemarie and Audrey. Tom had so many dear friends it would be impossible to list them all.

He truly loved people and made friends wherever he lived or traveled. You would always receive a big, warm hug when you met Tom. He liked fishing, hunting, camp-fires, sports, travel, fine foods, and perhaps, some “Gibby’s”.

A Memorial Service for Tom Noble was held on Friday, November 23, 2007 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 259 in Clearwater, BC. Arrangements entrusted to North Thompson Funeral Services, 73 Taren Drive, Clearwater, BC, V0E 1N0, telephone 250-674-3030.

Cheers, Tom/dad/grandpa/uncle/brother/Buddha
