November 8, 1940 - March 8, 2020
Shirley Grant passed away peacefully in her sleep, at Overlander Care Home in Kamloops, March 8. Left to mourn her passing are her Brother, Dennis Krill (wife Sharon) and her second Family, David and Deanna Tomlinson and family, plus nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends. Shirley was predeceased by her husband James A Grant (Jerry), Her daughter Darlene Morrison, and bother-in-law Ken Grant.
Shirley was born in Montrose, Colorado, grew up in East Los Angeles, and later met and married the love of her life Jerry in Seaside Oregon. From there they travelled to Surrey, B.C., and finally settled back in Jerry's Family homestead in Clearwater. Shirley was an avid gardener, but mostly loved visiting with her friends over lunches and dinners.
She is at peace now with her beloved Jerry; Darlene and her puppies Ryan and Molly.
A special thanks to all of the staff at Overlander Care Home, the care aides in Clearwater for their loving care and support with her for the past months and years. At Shirley's request there will be no funeral service.
