Rene Johann Hauenstein
Rene Johann Hauenstein was born in Zurich Switzerland, on Sept. 30, 1958.
He passed away in Prince George on Dec. 19, 2009 at 51 years of age after a massive heart attack. Rene leaves behind his spouse Ursula Hauenstein; two
Children, Denise and Andreas; Rene's mother, Luise Hauenstein of Prince George; his dad, Robert Hauenstein of Faellanden Switzerland; his brother
Erich Hauenstein of Prince George; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Rene was born in Zurich, Switzerland, but grew up in Faellanden where he graduated in 1973. After graduation he worked in his dads construction company until he moved to Canada in 1987. In Clearwater he and his brother had a farm. Rene mostly worked on the farm where they run Buffalo's and wild boars.
In 1992 he met his wife Ursula. Rene and his family moved to Cecil Lake in 2003 where he worked for farmers and constitution companies.
The last year and a half he lived with his brother in Prince George.
He will be missed.
A memorial service will be held in Cecil Lake on Jan. 15, 2010 at 2:30 with tea to follow.
