February 3, 1919 — January 19, 2008

Myrt passed away peacefully at Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital in Clearwater, B.C. She was predeceased by her devoted husband Thomas McNeice and is survived by her children: Lynda McNeice, Pat McNeice (Carol), Merle McNeice (Debbie), Susan Ayers (Glen),Tom McNeice, Shelley Schrader, and Kelly McNeice (Julie) as well as 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Myrtle was born in Langham, Saskatchewan. She and her husband Tom lived in the Kamloops area for over 50 years and were residents of Heffley Creek since 1970. Myrtle was a devoted mother and wife, who provided an ideal childhood for her children. She shared years of love and laughter with her children and grandchildren. When the children were grown she spent many happy times traveling with family and friends. Myrtle was a long time volunteer with the Girl Guides and the Women’s Institute. She will be sadly missed by many.

A Celebration of Myrtle’s life took place on Saturday Jan. 26, 2008 at the Centennial Free Methodist Church in Kamloops B.C. Many thanks to the staff at Dr.Helmcken Memorial Hospital in Clearwater, for all the care they have shown to Myrtle over the years. Also, thank you to North Thompson Funeral Services for all that they have done for the family.
