Miles Harvey Ritchie
1965-2010
Miles Ritchie of Clearwater, BC, passed away suddenly at home on August 24, 2010. He was 44 years of age. Miles will be greatly missed by his wife Deneen, daughter Aaren, son Tanner, brothers Kevin (Theresa) and Marvin (Pamela), sister Serena (Ron), mother-in-law Iva, father-in-law Doug, sisters-in-law Terry, Kathy and Michele, nieces Kristi, Amanda, Chelsie, Stephanie, Mallory, Karlene, Megan and Amber, nephews Jonathan (Tanya), Darryl, Danny, Chad, Lee and Donald, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. Miles was predeceased by his mother Florence, father Merle and brother-in-law Wayne.
Miles was born in Kamloops, BC on November 30, 1965 and spent almost his entire life in Clearwater. After graduating from Clearwater Secondary School in 1985, Miles worked for numerous employers in the logging industry. For the past 10 years, he worked for M.W. Sharke. Miles loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and camping with family and friends. He had a passion for old cars. Miles was good at everything he did; he was especially great at raising his children.
A Memorial Service for Miles Ritchie was held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Clearwater, BC, on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Lloyd Strickland officiated.
