May Stopyra
After a lengthy illness mom passed away peacefully March 23, 2004 in Clearwater, B.C. at 77 years of age.
Mom was born May 2, 1926 in Sheho, Saskatchewan. She married Frank Stopyra on Oct. 30, 1942 in Foam Lake, where they lived on the farm until 1965 when they moved to Clearwater.
Left to cherish her memory are her longtime companion, Joe Toth; daughters Jane (Ray) Arneson and Shirley (Les) Bannert; grandchildren Kelly (Joni) Arneson, Connie (Murray) Brown, Chad Bannert and Clint (Veronica) Bannert; great-grandchildren Kelsey and Jessica Arneson, Raemie and Kyle Brown, and Kamlyn Bannert; sisters Lily (Clarence) Redman, Josie McColl, Lorraine (Dave) Davison and brother Gerald Scramstad. Also numerous nieces, nephews and her many loyal friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Frank, her brothers Allan and Melvin and granddaughter Kim.
