Mark Vogels

July 22, 2004

On July 22, 2004 Mark Allen Vogels (Spud) passed away unexpectedly at the age of 15 years.

He is lovingly remembered by his parents Jack and Brenda, brother Jackson, sissy Michelle, four grandparents Nana (Gloria Chambers), Gramma Hansen, and Oma and Opa Vogels.

Predeceased by his Papa Chambers on July 10 of this year.

Mark will be sorrowfully missed by his family; Auntie Debbie (Steve), Uncle Sterling (Ruby), Auntie Tanja, Uncle David, Auntie Roxie (Rob), Uncle Peter (Diane), Uncle Paul (Wendy), Uncle Roger (Lucy), Auntie Trudy (Dennis), Uncle John (Am), Aunt Mary (George), Aunt Helen (Louis) and numerous cousins.

Born and raised in Clearwater, B.C., Mark touched many people in his short life. He will be remembered for his humor, his athletic and musical talents, and his ability to test your intelligence.

Mark enjoyed camping with family and friends and tubing with Siarah at Canim Lake. He was an awesome ball player, he loved reading and writing, and always enjoyed bantering and matching wits with anyone. Mark had an incredibly close relationship with his mom and dad and had an exclusive relationship with his older brother Jackson. They were very protective of and loyal to each other.

His best buds, Ryan and Shane, his cousins Deven, Tanner, and Sarita, his surrogate cousins Siarah, Mack and Keltie, and his newfound friends Lorne, Tamara and Byron from Fanny Bay will especially miss him.

Mark's memorial service was held at the Legion Hall in Clearwater, B.C. on July 29.

We would like to give out a special thanks to Mike Moss, Kelvin Arndt, Ron Storey, Rob Sunderman, Robert Boudreau, Seppi Wadlegger, Const. Mark Labossiere, Clearwater Search and Rescue and the Clearwater Ambulance Service.

In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate all donations to the Clearwater Search and Rescue.
