Marion Wilson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Marion (Malowany) Wilson of Vavenby on March 4, 2005, at the age of 67 years.

She is survived by her husband Jack of Vavenby, son Guy of Clearwater, daughter Charlene Tobin (Jim) of Vavenby; grandchildren Cory Wilson of Kamloops, Krista Wilson (Chris) of Clearwater, Jilene Tobin of Vavenby; great granddaughter Kallie of Clearwater; brothers Ed and Albert Malowany, both of Vernon; nephew Albert, nieces Edvina, Carla, Rene, Angela and Lorie, and her dog, Willie.

Marion was the happiest being a mother and a homemaker, loved by her family. Marion had many different jobs over the years, her favorite was being an Avon representative. Marion was born Jan 26, 1938 at Vegreville, Alberta.

She married Jack Wilson Feb. 26, 1956 and started their family. They lived in the Okanagan area before moving to Brennan Creek in 1965, and settling in Vavenby in 1971.

A Celebration of Marion’s Life was held at Vavenby Christian Church in Vavenby on Saturday, March 12, 2005
