With sadness we wish to announce the death of Margaret Rutsatz on Nov. 26, 2004, at the age of 82 years. She was born in Vancouver on July 24, 1922, the only child of Catherine and William McCleneghan.
Margaret died peacefully, in her sleep in Dr. Helmcken memorial Hospital after a short battle with lung cancer.
She was predeceased by husband Ken Rutsatz in 1995. Margaret leaves to mourn her passing daughters Carol Robertson and family, Diane (Moe) Smith and family; sons Buster (Cindy) Rutsatz and family, and Gordie (Tammy) Rutsatz, and many friends. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Spending most of her life in the North Thompson Valley, Margaret touched many lives. She worked outside the home most of her life and was an active volunteer in the community for many years. She was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 259 for 20 years. May she rest in peace.
