Marcella Genevieve Therres (nee: Bolster), born Jan. 14, 1912 passed away peacefully on June 29, 2010 with her family at her side at Home Sweet Home, Birch Island, B.C.
The family would like to thank Sandra Paine (Home Sweet Home) for her helpful devotion and care of our mother in her last days.
Marcy was born in Humboldt, Sask., where she knew her sweetheart and husband, Al Therres as a child. Marcy and Al married on June 30, 1933. They had five children - Lorraine, Jim, Margaret, Paul and Patricia.
Marcy carried and shared a deep love for her grandchildren. She leaves many grandchildren, great- and great-great grandchildren with whom she enjoyed good times.
Marcy was predeceased by her husband Al (1979) and their daughter Lorraine (1975), [Steve Robinson]. She is survived by sons Jim (Alice) and Paul (Esther); daughters Margaret (Peter Erickson), (Rudy Ukrainetz) and Patricia (Marshall Milligan) and three sisters Lorraine, Vivian and Georgeanne.
At Marcy's request there will be no funeral service. Cremation.
