It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden but peaceful passing at home of our Lynda on April 9, 2008. She will be forever remembered by Bill, her loving husband of 41 years.
Lynda is the mother of Daryll (Kerry) of Clearwater, BC, Shannon of Aurora, Ontario, and Sally (Chris) of Norwood, Ontario; Mama to Jessie Lyn, who is the special light in her life; Grumba to her special boys, Aiden and Sawyer; Grandma to Cheyenne and Harley; Mountain Mama to Sarah and Ashlin; foster mother to several; loving big sister of Vicki (deceased), Susie and Julie; and Aunt Nini of Chris, Troy, Jason, Jaclyn, Cory and Chad.
Lynda has been an active member in many organizations since she and Bill moved to Clearwater in 1999, including the Clearwater United Church, North Thompson Quilting Guild, the Clearwater and District Chamber of Commerce, Alexander Themis Society and Crisis Line. Her passions were her family, friends, gardening, quilting, knitting, crocheting and political issues.
A private family service was held on Sunday, April 13, 2008 in the chapel of North Thompson Funeral Services, in Clearwater, B.C.
Mom, we say thank you with all our hearts for the abundance of love and the strength, support and direction that you have shared with us.
We love you, Mama, more than the Easter Bunny.
