Lucas Marten Cowie, age 35, passed away suddenly last week.
Lucas was born on March 25th, 1983 to Ava Perraton (Firomski) and Deryl Donald Cowie. He graduated from Clearwater Secondary School (2001). He was married on November 11th, 2011 to Natasha Matieschyn and was the loving father of three wonderful and resilient children, Griffin, Phoenix and Siryn Cowie.
Lucas was a funny and hard- working man who had a vivid imagination and a fierce love for animals of all kinds. As a young man, he loved drama and finding avenues for his playful sense of humour to light up the days of his many friends. He was passionate about movies and gaming and had worked hard to gain education and experience as a mechanical insulator. He could be counted on as a reliable and caring colleague and excelled in perfecting the skills of his trades.
Lucas was loved by many and is survived by Griffin, Siryn and Phoenix Cowie; Natasha Matieschyn; Ava Perraton (Clive) and Deryl Cowie (Darlene); Joan Jacobsen and Helen and Myron Smith; Amber and Morgan Cowie; Daryl and David Kehler as well as many loving uncles, aunts, great- aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
There will be a private family service on Saturday, December 1st in Clearwater, BC.
