Leonard Marsel passed away suddenly at home in Clearwater, BC on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at the age of 73. He was born August 24, 1947 in Olalla, BC.
Len is predeceased by his parents Frank and Annabelle Marsel, three brothers: Sonny, Joe, and Bert Marsel, three sisters: Lyle Chase, Dolly (Turcotte) Parman, and Linda (Neil) Sterns.
He is survived and will be sadly missed by the love of his life June Ann Marsel, his children Rachel (Darwin) Hance-Mulvahill, Jesse (Amy) Marsel, Brian (Danica) Marsel, and Tammy (Rob) Peel, as well as his grandchildren Cole and Tia; Chloe (Jeffrey) and Hunter; Morgan, Kaitlyn (Nathan), Alexus, Mackenzie, and Ryder; Maple, Jasper, Olive and Ivory. His great grandchildren Teagan and Oaklyn.
His siblings Kay Davis, Rose Boltz, Nancy Morrow, Diane (Maurice) Zakall, Nina (Donny) Marshall, Danny (Kat) Marsel, Pete (Laura) Marsel, Wendy Marsel and his many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Cooner's house was home to many people needing a supportive and encouraging place to stay, and a hot meal and a coffee. Family and friends will remember his willingness to always lend a helping hand on vehicles needing mechanical work, his love of the outdoors, fishing, hunting, fast cars and driving the old blue dump truck for Borrows.
