Larry Tychkowsky

March 7, 2003

1946 — 2003

Suddenly, on March 7, 2003, Larry Roy Tychkowsky of Avola, B.C., was taken from his family and friends.

He will be lovingly missed by Verna, his wife of 30 years, their three children, Leona (Ron) Hodgson, Angie (Colin) Wowk, and Stacy (Chelsea Blouin), and the grandchildren he worshiped, Noah and McKenzi. He was born September 20, 1946, in Vancouver, B.C.

Larry’s happiest times were spent being with his family — going camping, spending countless hours on the water and coming back with a story of how he caught a loon, and the time he spent with his son tinkering in his shop. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Larry’s family would like to express their appreciation to the ambulance attendants and staff at Royal Inland Hospital for their continued care and support.

A celebration of his life took place at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 14, 2003, in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel, 285 Fortune Drive. Reverend Canon J.J. Phelps officiating.

Following the service Larry was laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery in Kamloops.
