Karen Marshall (née Weslowski) of Little Fort, BC, slipped away peacefully at Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital in Clearwater, BC, after a lengthy illness. She was 65 years of age. Born in Kamloops, BC, Karen is survived by her cherished companion Harvey Ross of Little Fort, BC; daughter Melanie (Dennis) Freeston of Little Fort; son Ron (Uta) Marshall of Prince George, BC; and grandchildren Kristen and Kaitlin Marshall of Prince George and Daniel and Ryan Freeston of Kamloops, BC. Karen was predeceased by her mother Amy Weslowski and her father Fred Weslowski, both of Little Fort.
Karen was a devoted mother, grandmother and a loving partner to Harvey. She loved family gatherings, cooking for her family, bingo, scratch & wins, knitting, crochet, and her soap operas.
A celebration of Karen Marshall’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at the Community Hall in Little Fort.
