John Henry Holland

On January 18, 2005, John Henry Holland of Vavenby passed away suddenly at the age of 71 years. He is survived by his loving wife Evelyn and three children Tracy (Brent) Buck of Clearwater, Jackson Holland (Luke) of Princeton and Jani (Edward) Lange of Kelowna; five grandchildren Wynter, Skye, Rita, Jacob and Levi and one great grandchild Storm. He is also remembered by twin sister Joan (Alf) Lewis of Lumby, his brother Walter Holland of Williams Lake and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son Mark and his brothers George and Albert.

John was born in Kamloops and raised in Vancouver. He moved to the North Thompson in his early teens where he has resided since. Hunting, fishing and traveling were a large part of his life.

He will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends.

Memorial service was held on Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005 at the Clearwater Legion Hall with Lloyd Strickland and Pastor Ian Moilliet officiating.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Schoening Funeral Services.
