John Edwin “Ed” Dibblee
On Feb. 5, 2004, Ed passed away peacefully in his sleep at Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital.
Ed is survived by his children, Bill, Linda, Colleen, Nick, Lyla and Ricky, as well as brother Cecil. Ed is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents James Edgar and Helen Maud Dibblee, and siblings Lyla, Wes, Allan, Albert, Pearl and Myrtle.
Ed was born in Monitor, Alberta on Sept. 17, 1918. As a young boy he moved to the Fort Fraser area of B.C. and then to the Lower Mainland. In the ‘60s Ed moved to Vavenby, where he lived until his passing. Ed, we will miss you so much.
No service by request. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital in Clearwater, B.C. in Ed’s name.
