October 10, 1988 - December 15, 2007
Jeremy Edward Leslie Fontaine was born in Clearwater, B.C. on Oct. 10, 1988. It was Thanksgiving Day.
Throughout his life, Jeremy enjoyed sports of all types. Hockey was by far his favourite one. Jeremy’s greatest passion in life, however, was for his family and friends. Jeremy was a lot of things to a lot of people. He was a son, a grandson, a brother, a nephew, a cousin, a boyfriend and a friend...he touched a lot of people’s lives. Jeremy had a love for life, people, animals and music. He loved his family, his girlfriend Melissa, his many friends, and his pets. Jeremy loved to make people laugh. He could always put a smile on your face.
Jeremy loved to be busy, whether it was playing hockey or ball, cruising with the tunes cranked, being with his family, partying or being at the bar. He loved to party and play hard — and play hard he did! He always loved to have a good time.
Tragically, Jeremy was taken from us suddenly on December 15, 2007. He will be sadly missed by all. Jeremy is survived by his Momma, Darlene Reid, his Father, John Fontaine, his Step-father, Jean Marc Cormier, his Sister, Madison Davidson, and by several Grandparents, Aunties, Uncles, Cousins and many friends.
A Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Jeremy Fontaine took place at the Community Baptist Church, Clearwater, B.C. on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007 with Pastor Tim Paquette and Lloyd Strickland, Minister, officiating. Interment followed at Riverview Cemetery in Clearwater B.C. Family and friends gathered afterwards at the Royal Canadian Legion in Clearwater for refreshments and to share memories of Jeremy.
