In loving memory of Jenny Jennings
September 21, 1917 – March 18, 2007
Jenny Jennings was born Doris May Hunt, in Walthamstow England.
It was here that she grew up and met the love of her life, Ernie Jennings. They raised three children: Sheila, Christine and Stephen. Ernie passed away in 1980 and Jenny started a new phase to her life.
She emigrated to Canada in 1990 and very quickly became an active Clearwater resident. She missed Ernie constantly but loved her life here.
One of Jenny's proudest moments was the day she officially became a Canadian citizen!
The apartment at Evergreen Acres became her home for 16 years. It was here that she could be seen with her constant sidekick, Lily.
Jenny passed away with her son Stephen at her side on Sunday evening, March 18, 2007.
Jenny is survived by Sheila, Christine and Stephen, her grandchildren Jane, Karen, Sarah, Claire, Mikala and Matthew as well as great-grandchildren, James and Annalei.
An informal celebration of life will be held Tuesday, March 27, from 1:30 p.m.—3:30 p.m. at Evergreen Acres Hall as per Jenny’s request.
