Jason was taken from his family and friends suddenly on Nov. 19, 2003.
Jason was born in Kelowna and moved to Clearwater with his family in 1974. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and boating.
He met Dawn and stepson Tyler in 1997 and they began their life together in Clearwater. They made their family complete with son Coltin and daughter Marina. Jason was a proud daddy and was hardly seen without his family. He was a dedicated son to his mother Sharon and a loving brother to his sisters Tracy and Roxann.
Jason worked at Slocan Forest Products for 13 years. He had many friends and was known for his outgoing and humorous personality.
Jason is survived by his loving wife Dawn, children: Tyler (11), Coltin (three) and Marina (one), his mother Sharon Chase, father Dave, sister Roxann and nieces Leath-Anne and Stephanie, sister Tracy (Darren) niece Kaila, and nephews Brodie and Conor. He is also survived by his special friends John, Marion and Jeff Walker.
Jason will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
