An Angel Has Left Us

Janice V. Noble (nee Parman), beloved wife of Tom Noble, passed away peacefully in the Clearwater Hospital on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2002. Jan was born on Jan. 27, 1938, in Nanaimo, B.C. Jan was one of those people who always had a smile and helping hand for everyone. A very loving memory will be held by Tom, her husband of nearly 21 years; Jan’s mother, Hazel Parman who resides in Sooke, B.C., and her eight sisters and brothers, their spouses and families. Jan and Tom have eight grown children also with families. Tom and Jan are blessed with 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Jan is an example of what it means to have lived a graceful and loving life. The phrase to best describe her is “beautiful lady.” Jan’s love of life touched hundreds of people, and her passing has bonded us even closer.

A Celebration of Her Life will be held at the Legion Hall on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002 at 2 p.m. It is kindly requested that those attending bring a small plate of sandwiches or goodies. In lieu of flowers, Tom asks that donations be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Cancer Society. Thank you to all of you who have voiced their concerns and support. It is very much appreciated.
