JAMES WILLIAM BARRIE (BUD) BOLTON.
May 29, 1943 — April 06, 2008
Bud was born in North Vancouver and passed away quietly at Mills Memorial Hospital in Terrace B.C. after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer.
He grew up in Sunshine Valley along with his sister Lorraine (Hystad) and his cousin James Service who died in 1957 at the age of sixteen.
They were all raised by their grandmother Susan May Henderson.
Bud took all his schooling in Star Lake and Clearwater schools before leaving to seek a career "in the bush."
In 1971 he met and fell in love with his life partner Dorothy Wellington and they were married on Dec. 18, 1971.
Bud leaves to mourn his passing his dear wife of 36 years Dorothy as well as his sister Lorraine Hystad as well as cousins and many nieces and nephews.
After cremation, a small service was held for family and close friends at their home in Terrace B.C. on April 13, 2008.
