Jade Giles

January 24, 1987 – September 30, 2022
In loving memory ~
Jade was born in Clearwater BC on January 24th, 1987 and passed away suddenly on September 30th 2022 at the age of 35. Jade is survived by her daughter Jayla, brothers James, Jeff and Tug, stepfather Larry, Greg and her grandparents Jack and Marge. Jade will be remembered by her aunts, uncles and cousins, her nieces, and nephews, and all the amazing friends she had. Jade was pre-deceased by her father Allen and her mother Deb.
Jade grew up in Clearwater and Avola where she loved boating, camping, and helping at the Log Inn Pub with her mom, Larry, and Tug. She was a waitress at the Log Inn where she learned to prepare their world-famous burgers. Jade spent her busy teenage years in Clearwater where she made lifelong friendships. After graduation Jade met Garret and although they lived in many places together, Clearwater was always home. In 2013 their daughter Jayla Jean Toma was born, Jayla was the apple of her eye, a real “mini-Jade.”
She was a very proud mother and loved Jayla with all her heart. They always had fun together, riding on Jade’s (Deb’s) Harley, swimming at Dutch Lake, playing with Hugo their Bulldog and cat Frass. They loved mother daughter dates to get their nails done and just relaxing. Jade worked at the Wells Gray as a bartender, being the social butterfly she was, she loved this job. Jade’s bubbly personality, smile and kindness was a wonderful natural trait. Jades’ friends were more like sisters and family. Jade was part of the Twisted Sisters as was her mom.
She had a special place in her heart for them, to her they were family. She loved riding her Harley, loved tattoos and was very proud of her ink, she loved animals, and flowers. She was compassionate and truly cared about people. She was a free spirit and had a very sensitive nature.
May she rest in peace with loving thoughts around her.
